Forensic Evaluations for Immigration

Dr. Laws has experience conducting expert forensic evaluations, affidavits, Immigration Court testimony for clients with physical signs of abuse who are seeking relief in the U.S. via asylum or withholding of removal. She spent several years as a consultant, then served as medical director of Survivors International in San Francisco, a resource center for survivors of political persecution.

Dr. Laws works closely with immigration attorneys on these cases. She has evaluated and prepared affidavits for hundreds of survivors of abuse and persecution from around the world. The majority of the cases she has worked on have been granted in San Francisco Immigration Court.
